Kyoshiro is a white Kishu with odd eyelashes and large black eyes. He has several scars across his body. He has one on his back, one on his tail, one on each leg, two on his chest (one on each side), one on his right cheek, one on the right side of his forehead, one across his face, two on his left cheek and one on his left ear.

Kyoshiro is an aggressive, impatient and violent young dog. He doesn't see what happens around him when he gets angry, a thing he admitted himself. He is a very brave and confident fighter, but he may get himself and others in trouble because of his impulsiveness and tendency to not think things through.

Although he often has good intentions, he handles things in a harsh way. According to him, anger was originally the only way he knew how to react towards others, because of his harsh past. But otherwise, he is very good friends with Weed, who is the supreme leader after Hougen's defeat.

Kyoshiro is also a puppy lover and loved the cute little puppies, especially when he and the dog group from Ou-army came across a beautiful young adult female Kishu with her three little ones in the forest. Kyoshiro suggested to the lovely female Kishu to go to Ou-paradise with her puppies, since it is a safe place for the puppy family.

And he also tells the female Kishu, that if any dog dogs appear and think to threaten her and her puppies, she will say: "I am Kyoshiro's mate.", then they will not dare to attack them. Because some of the dogs have heard of Kyoshiro and know how violent he can be, if someone threatens him or his friends.
