in an effort to make some imagery I might be able to lend to local ceramicists to put on their mugs, I've whipped up this bunny.
I really don't freehand much these days, so this felt good.
artemisia tridentata is a very, very special plant to me. I like to use it to frame/encircle my subjects when I can & it's tattooed on my body, and present on my business cards.
this desert sagebrush is one of the first plants I ever learned how to identify by myself, and the first traditional medicine I was ever able to get my hands on. I try to take a small, mindful harvest any time I pass through the desert.
