From what I can tell, this is really good, and I've seen quite a few cards. It might be the photo not getting the full vividness of the details, but if these are your first go, they're delightful.

As far as I can tell from the photo, on the Drifting Shade you did well on the hardest part about altering MTG cards: bending your work over the boarder. Quite often, it's too easy to see the square of original art when it's just painted up to or if the paint's too thick around there.

As for pricing, just hit up eBay looking for "Altered Art" and you can get a general idea. The more popular the card is, the higher they'll go for as there's more interest. Some people have issues spending $5 on a $0.05 card to make it look better, go figure.

How much time did you spend on these?

Someday I'm gonna find more money to throw at a card altering artist again.

I'd certainly be interested, too - these look excellent and I've got a couple of decks that could use some good alters. As far as price, for work like this I'd certainly expect to pay on the order of $15-20/card for a custom alter, possibly a little more depending on the difficulty of the work.

That River Boa, incidentally, is especially brilliant - gorgeous work all around!
