Personality: When it comes to trying to break the ice with Reinhold, you might as well be trying to break a glacier. The man can be difficult to talk to at times thanks to his usually straightforward, stoic, and often quiet demeanor. It also doesn’t help that he can oftentimes lack a sense of humor, which can make for some very awkward situations with those that try to strike up a conversation with him. He also often finds solace in things that others may consider boring, such as quietly filling out paperwork in his office. He absolutely despises rulebreakers and anything he considers to be too chaotic. Despite all this, Reinhold can actually be a very swell guy to be around. He’s the kind of guy that will stand up for all his students and faculty under his watch, regardless of them being Pokémon, humans, or micros. He’s close friends with several people both inside and outside the university, often being the voice of reason in his group. His sense of humor can appear occasionally when around them, like jokingly referring to the beer they often drink as “pisswater” when compared to the beer back in his homeland. He also can be rather outdoorsy, as outside of working at the university, he likes to step out of his stuffy suit and spend time hiking the various recreational trails and visiting national parks. He has a particular fascination with exploring cave systems, as his abilities being a Terrakion give him a massive advantage in doing so.
Bio: Reinhold was born in Kiel, Germany to a mixed family of a German father and a Danish mother. In fact, his middle name, Torsten, comes from his mother’s father. Growing up, his parents would often bring him with them as they traveled to the southern German states and even Austria to visit relatives from his dad’s side. It was here in the Alps that he discovered a fascination with landforms, especially when it came to caves. Thanks to him being a ground pokemon, he had an interesting ability where it allowed him to always know where he was in a cave by using the sensation in his feet, and his immense strength also allowed him to climb the rock walls without the need of equipment. He could spend hours in the caves, oftentimes at the end having to go find the search parties dispatched to find him to let them know he was fine. This fascination in land formations would stick with him, and eventually would graduate from the local university with a PhD in geology, eventually moving to Indigo City after being offered a position to be a professor of geology. While there, Reinhold would quickly rise through the university ranks thanks to his dedication to order and efficiency, quickly going from professor, to dean, to eventually being designated as chancellor of the university. As chancellor, he has developed a bit of a reputation of being ruthlessly efficient, and doesn’t take kindly to rulebreakers on campus. While some view this as excessive, it has borne fruit with the university becoming one of the top institutions in the region. Student opinions on him can range from him being considered a cold killjoy, to a helpful upstander, depending on the circumstances of why the student was encountering him. Overtime, he developed a group of friends in Indigo City made up of fellow faculty members like Burton along with people outside the university like Malik, often letting his cold demeanor thaw a bit when around them. You better be on your best behavior when around Chancellor Bergmann, as he won't hesitate to institute some unorthodox punishments to make sure you both learn your lesson while maintaining the university's reputable image.

Introducing the next character for my Pokémon University: Chancellor Bergmann! This big boy I adopted earlier this year, but only now got around to creating a bio for him. I want to lean a bit into my Pokémon characters having some abilities related to the Pokémon's type and category. For Reinhold here, I decided that it would be cool if he had a similar ability that Toph from ATLA had, where he can get an idea of his surroundings using just his feet. I'll likely update the other Pokémon characters to have abilities as well (Like giving Malik and Hashim some abilities related to speed, and giving Burton some fighting abilities).
Also I don't have any pictures of him with his clothes on yet xD
So just imagine for now he usually wears a suit, as he's obviously not naked at his job... at least when there are people around~
