When the Divine Bull shows himself, the world holds its breath. For when the Bull roams, change follows. Resist his charge, ignore his bellows, but when his mind is set to remaking the world, the world will be remade. He manifests in the dust storms of the eastern desert, the billowing smoke left after a raid, or the roiling clouds of an encroaching storm.
Some claim that he fights change more than any mortal, but even he cannot halt it. This maddening impotence drives him to fury. For the force of time and change is above even gods, and the Bull cannot abide such shackles. These mortals view him as the lord of pacts; to swear an oath in the Bull's name is to tell him the way the world should be. To break that word is to invite chaos, and with it, the Bull's wrath.
Others will claim that he is not a herald, but a bringer. That he is fickle, and when he grows tired of the world, he will shape it with a pounding of his hooves. Such a fickle Beast can grow tired in the beat of a heart. How long is a god's heartbeat - how long until the world is remade?
