Just a little something to help alleviate boredom/depression
been in kind of a shitty mood lately even though I have a lot going for me and no actual reason to feel this way, and it's probably why I haven't been making as much music, too.
Anyways, no use being mired in one's personal despair, enjoy the track.
Equipment used: Carvin DC747 7 string, Kustom Quad100DFX 2x12 combo amp, Line 6 dr distorto pedal, boss ge-7 equalizer pedal, MXR 10 band EQ pedal, BBE SonicStomp sonic maximiser pedal, Shure sm57 microphone
after looking at my own setup it's no wonder I'm getting a shitload of feedback/humming

It's one of those things I've been kind of obsessed with ever since I started playing guitar back in '06, and it's always fun finding new sounds while using variations of the same finger positions across the entire fretboard, I guess. Sort of a lazy way to experiment, tbh, but it has its benefits.
and thanks, I really appreciate it! any feedback on my stuff really makes my day.

Thanks, man!
What's funny is that I used to abhor dissonance because I thought it couldn't be incorporated into anything catchy or simple to play, like I'd only associate it with those insane progressive/tech/core bands that use odd timings and incredibly fast playing
Then I guess over time I got really really sick of playing the same power chords over and over and had to just play around with weird shapes and random notes that clash against each other painfully, etc.
