I couldn't not bring back an old favorite of mine into the Cyberpunk universe. Originally my first Baldur's Gate 3 character who was so loved by my multiplayer group that she flourished into a life of her own. Introducing once again, Evelyn Wight!
Her cybernetic eye glowed as she carved through documents and evidence of her latest case. The murder of a middle middle manager working with Medical Aeronautica in a love hotel down in the J-Town combat zone. The case perplexed her, something so skeezy would be the last place a fairly successful corpo would find herself. She was found in the early morning with multiple stab and lacerations, however what clearly killed her was a shot to the chest from a 9mm handgun. There was a clear sign of struggle as the room had been completely trashed. However what they could not recover was a casing of the round used to finally end the poor woman's life.
One of Prospera's best homicide detectives, Detective Wight wasn't exactly a social butterfly. She was a big rough around the edges, and people would say her stare could make just about anyone break. Those that really grew to know her though knew that she was a woman that was passionate about cleaning the streets and making them safe for everyone. Anything from helping old ladies across the street, volunteering to aid struggling youth, or putting away the worst of Prospera's bad guys. Although she would usually carry that same scowl no matter what she would do.
Datasheet after sheet she plowed through as more questions popped in her mind. After what felt like hours of investigation and collecting, she found something! In the woman's social media, she found a selfie with someone in the background, another member of Prospera's police department. One of the Sergeants by the name of Rodrigue Denis. The photo was taken at a corporate event sponsored by Medical Aeronautica. What was he doing there? What followed were not answers, but more questions. The night of the murder, Sergeant Denis' service weapon wasn't returned to the station. That isn't exactly uncommon in Prospera, but what was uncommon was the fact that in the latest inventory of ammunition. Denis had one round of ammunition that was left unchecked, a 9mm round from his standard issue.
More and more evidence piled up, it had become apparent that Denis was in very close contact with other branches of Aeronautica, specifically the weapons division. Could this have been a corporate assassination with Denis as the hitman? It was becoming too big for Evelyn to ignore. She had gone to the captain to inform him that she had placed Sergeant Denis as a suspect for the murder. Silence was followed for days, to weeks. Evelyn had been following up with the captain every other day, soon every day. Even going as far as leaving notes on his desk! Finally she gets the call to enter the captains office.. The gentleman looked disheveled, angry, a bruise forming just under his eye. He didn't even wait for Evelyn to close the door before he began screaming at her.
"How dare you accuse one of our best cops of murder of all things?! Evelyn I thought you had smarts, intuition, but turns out you're no noble dragon at all. You're a snake clearly gunning for Sergeant Denis' position by framing him for a petty killing of some lady that you have no business dealing with anyway! You're a disgrace to the PMPD, and to Prospera as a whole! I won't tolerate this. Give me your gun, and your badge. You're done here. Get. Out."
Her cybernetic eyes glowed with a violet fury, her teeth baring as she barked back at him! They shouted for over an hour before Evelyn had finally given up. She drops her gun on his desk before taking out her badge, the one that she had worked tirelessly for. The one that she chose over any sort of intimacy with anyone else. The shine on the Prospera's shield as the bottom reads "Detective Evelyn Wight." Her lip trembles, and a just a sliver of weakness could be shown before she grips the badge tightly and throws it at the captain's face before storming out of the building!
The once detective, now just Evelyn. Finds herself lost. Being a cop was all she knew how to be, and she loved it more than anything. What was she to do now?

Hehe! Woooowie! Evelyn's back and 1 of the cyber gals now! ^!^ Yay! ^!^ Loving the dark, brooding, mysterious shadows all around her. Very Batman-esque. The dark brown trench coat adds even more to this! ^!^ And the combination of her coat's broad opening and the red scarf calls attention to her, makes her look dangerous. Like the hood on the dinosaur from Jurassic Park (the original.) ^!^ (With a nice neutral undershirt to help. ^!^ ) Of course those comparatively brighter colors bring out her black scales. Calling attention to her mighty draconic visage. The horns, spikes, jagged teeth, and slight scaly hair in the back giving her such a tough gal look. Hehe! Especially when combined with her pretty, piercing, bright purple eyes with those sharp eyelashes. Looks like she could cut you with a look! ^!^
Story time! ^!^
Sooo, I hope you don't mind my proofreading, hun. Just wanna help. >.< I'll get that out of the way before I talk about how amazing the story is! ^!^ (Is there such thing as a middle middle manager, or is that a typo? Idk cyberpunk that well. XD Also I think you meant "bit rough" in the 2nd paragraph. And you meant to put a comma in "ammunition. Denis" in the end of the 3rd, yes?)
Woooowie! ^!^ A good cop that's truly dedicated to the job, to serving and protecting! ^!^ Love her! ^!^ And hope she still helps her community out even though she's lost her job. ;-; That's such corrupt cop bs! She did such a great job! The leads were solid. And the culprit was clear! And the chief, who's keeping him on a leash? Hehe! 2 new mysteries as 1 was getting solved!
Who's got their hand in the police department, and what will Evelyn do now? ^!^
