Actually, when I was little, Alakazam wanted me to become independent as soon as possible. He could have done it. But my mother told him that she was afraid to experiment on me. So I grew up like a normal child, just with a god-like, almost all-powerful Pokémon standing behind me. Now we all live together in a huge mansion, and he doesn't have to take care of me like he used to. Now I take care of him. He doesn't really need it, but it's so nice to take care of someone who once took care of you.
