July 4th, 1965, Rei Alecia stands on the edge of the Grand Canyon viewing the scene before her. On her version of Earth the Canyon had only been as third as impressive and here, most likely due to the lesser gravity of her Earth though the difference was slight. Somon Rhulek, the creature who had entered her reality and declared war on her people had changed many, many things. Perhaps this canyon was one of those things, after all the megalomaniac purple creature really didn't like anything more impressive than himself.

She would never know, only that her own actions in defeating the creature had saved what was left of her solar system, her people and prevented this world from more than a taste of his madness. He had barely managed to rupture Egypt's history.

Now she was visiting this worlds natural wonders while building her Space Rangers, with one paw on the rail Rei was enjoying the view. Behind her a crowd of humans watched in wonder, fear and in several cases hate. She was a rodent, a creature they set traps out to kill. Yet truth was Rei had protected their planet, saved them from slavery or worse. Still there were those small minded humans who would never accept her existence.

A shot rang out, a heavy hand gun from the sound and a collected gasp of horror came from the crowd, some idiot had brought a firearm to a National Park, then actually shot at their alien visitor. There were screams of horror as well but Rei simply turned around slowly, looked at the heavy .44 cal slug spinning helplessly in the air, having stopped its travel exactly one meter from the mouse's body as it impacted her personal shield. Rei looked at the spinning copper jacketed lead pellet, then as the crowd parted leaving the stunned man open to her view she simply shook her head in dismay.

"Children" her honey soft voice was heard to say, a voice that many on the crowd were affected by. "You were warned." Reaching out she stopped the bullet from spinning, a thought and it turned into a spider, a lead and copper spider still a spider. "Go home" she whispered and the spider returned to the man who had fired it, at the same speed it had left his weapon. He screamed in fear as the spider landed on his head, knocking off his paramilitary hat then quickly making a nest in his hair, only then ceasing movement. He would have to shave off his hair to dislodge the artifact, even then it would simply move to another part of his body, wherever the hair was thickest. After all, his body was now its home. At least he would discover, it didn't need to eat or drink.

When the crowd looked back to Rei she was gone, as was the cat like creature named Tanya Stardust who had stood near her.
