Outside of them being their normal little bitch self regarding content producers whether it be fair use or not, or insert here legal issues, pal world being a good example in the modern time?
Recently it has come to my attention that if you intend to mod you switch 2 you know add mods and shit to your games that you bought. They now have the ability to brick your console that you’ve paid nearly $1000 for.
I already hardly had a reason to keep my switch one due to all the games on it being mediocre at best and I’ve got my own issues with animal crossing new horizons Izzy deserves better

I do suspect that this will bite them on the ass in the long run. Even if hypothetically I was willing to forgo my principles and pay down the money to get the switch, even if I have NO intentions of modding, or doing anything of that sort, i would NOT want my console I spent MY money on to brick, that is waay to far for my tastes.
I can see this affecting their sales in the long run.

Only way gamers can have that, is to not buy games that are beyond 60+ dollars or whatever price they are comfortable with.
We can indeed force change if we speak with our WALLETS and not given into the fear of missing out, sense most junk out these days aren't worth it if it's from the big wigs.
