Vaelther is a mage dragon living in a world developed through magic. With beings and creatures that exist solely because of how it’s allowed the land to prosper. One of them would be dragons, one of the few considered dominant species. Sometimes-and only for how some acted and were capable of-they would be referred to as apex predators. However, most are just winged beings able to fly and use magic with little to no ill intent.

While most are usually only of either white, black, or gray as there main color scheme, Vaelther is a mix with two identifying colors that make him somewhat of a standout even amongst his own kind. Rare to come out with secondary coloring of both yellow and blue, some find it fascinating, while others have bullied and badgered him over not being able to breathe fire, ice, or just use magic normally like they can.

Not exactly a master at either fire nor water, the act of combining the two in consecutive attacks against one or multiple enemies has proven durable and brought advantages many would not expect. After much reading, secret inscriptions, and general research, he’s been able to achieve what most though impossible. Including channeling magic through a special staff of unknown origin.

Those of yellow coloring are also considered to have the power of the sun, closely in the same category with harnessing fire but both more healing and more dangerous. From simply lighting up a dark cavern to a ray striking down a monster, access to such has it’s many advantages. Including healing properties that can be drawn up from both.

As a result, mages who are technically stronger have lost when challenging-some out of ignorance, and others not able to take on the double-hit that Vaelther is able to access. Life hasn’t been super-easy for him, but much has changed and many have come to learn not to disrespect one who can deliver on their promises. Good, neutral, or bad ones.
