Microsoft bricked my laptop // EMERGENCY (info in desc)
Hello everyone,
Im in need of your help.
Long story short, on 10th, June a cumulative update KB5060533 came out for Windows 10. This update caused severe incompatibility problems and bricked my laptop. This update damaged laptops Gigabyte G5/G6 series! Dell PC and laptops and another devices and motherboards.
The problem is that I’ve tried to recover the system with internal recovery tools, tried using USB drive with Win iso and it didnt work. I checked if my SSD was damaged or USB drive was built incorrectly but different laptop and pc showed that there was no problem. Problem is within my laptop cause probably that update caused severe BIOS malfunction as its unable to boot the OS no matter what device i use and what OS it is (I’ve tried to switch to Linux and yeah… no success).
I contacted SVs of Gigabyte company, supplier and Microsoft tech-support as well and they can’t help we resolve the problem. Microsoft even denies that there are some issues after the latest update. All i have to do is either wait or try and find different solution in nearby PC fix companies. But im still not sure how the possible fix patch from microsoft will work as OS is unable to boot.
I’m midst my summer exams (1 year master’s degree student) and im at the risk of being expelled, as all my tasks are on laptop and my education fully related to media content creation (video and sound-design). I don’t know how costly will be the repair and worst case scenario new motherboard will be required or it will be as expensive as buying a new laptop.

for you issue no i don't think it would be a gpu or cpu issue, sometimes when switching parts if you don't uninstall them properly they can cause issues if installing newer, different models of hardware. but your problem started from windows update, so i have a feeling that they have maybe messed with something under the hood, like firmware, tmp, some kinda ai feature there trying to shove down everyone's throat.
