More art from 2012! This time some assorted art of Jawz, my shifter character! I was trying to do some slightly updated references for some of her more commonly used shift forms.

Jawz is a complex shifter, meaning she's got more than one thing she can turn into- and both of these are actually hybrids of some other forms of hers! (She prefers these to the originals, though. She got aspects of both from either parent, and these are more hers.) Jawz is absolutely a tomboy, and enjoys parkouring about Central, doing various odd jobs and taking time to unwind in the local retro arcade with a good game of pacman.

She can also run around in partial shift if she wants (something that's unusual for most shifters, since it's a fairly instantaneous process) and likes having fluffy paws and a tail on occasion! She's also good at perching in high places and watching goings on, which is admittedly easier when you can shift paws and anything else, though she doesn't necessarily rely on that- she's made a point to know how to find a good fire escape with or without shift form.

(And some notes from dA: Also you might notice her last name sounds familiar- Lakkar isn't her last name, she actually took it on from Kaerith! Though they're not related, she decided to adopt the name from her friend after some time in Central, Kaerith being the only 'family' she has out there; though her real family is still around, she's no longer connected with them (albeit unintentionally - it's a little complicated) and has no idea as to their whereabouts. As another interesting note, 'Lakkar' isn't Kaerith's given last name, either- rather, it's a name she chose when she came to Central many many years ago, as something of a new start. Found family and you've both taken on a new name. Huh, and I mean come to think of it, Jawz kinda sounds less like a name a parent would give their child and more like the name a young teenager might give themselves upon finding them in a new city and starting a whole new life, but who can say?)
