Ack! Forgot to upload these!
Firstly we have a card for Floppybelly of her Mewtwo knitting a Tom Baker Dr. Who scarf. She was wonderful enough to provide me with a visual reference so I could get the stripes right.
Next we have what was my warmup cards. I'm really happy with the background on this one and I think it put me in a gradient mood for the evening.
Next is a card of Asalis as a pony. He also gave me a quickie ref for the design but let me come up with the cutie mark. I also went a little nuts on the background. You can see one of the floating cities in the background as well as one of the winged ponies flying by.
and finally is a two card spread for Blackwater of his siamese cat characters. A set of twins, one of which has an inverted fur pattern and they tend to wear inverted costumes. Since they're performers I wanted to put them in some kind of synchronized pose.
These are all 2.5 x 3.5 cards drawn on illustration board in sepia inks and colored in copic markers with some gelpen as hilighting. I draw all of these live via webcam three nights a week.
More cards tonight!
