Here is a planing stop I made for the workbench.
It is a tool used to keep a board that is being planed by hand from moving around on the work bench.
This was forged from a piece of heavy gauge strap stock that I had on hand. The teeth were filed in with a trianglular file.

That looks grabby! Heh I was in an apartment in California, had a balcony, whacked 2 roofing nails into the handrail almost all the way in, just enough to catch the edge of a board. After a year of tinkering, I looked down at the neighbors balcony below, they just use it for storage, was all covered with sawdust and shavings, oops!
