There is a deafening silence in the forest as even the leaves on the trees lay motionless upon their branches. No birds fly overhead and no rustling of creatures in the brush. The setting sun's rays barely break through the dense canopy above, casting ethereal dark shadows on the under story and forest floor. What was meant to be a short trip has soon turned into hours of walking in circles through this forest, getting more hopelessly lost with every passing minute. The sense of urgency sets in, as there are rumors about what happens to hikers and adventurers if you get stuck in these forests after dark.
"are you lost?" peeking from behind a tree is a shy dryad, who had not been standing there moments before. She is donned in a dress that seems to be made out of flower petals and leaves, and her beautiful hair sways and flows in a breeze that doesn't exist. She stands in a ring of toadstools that give off their own faint white glow. she gives a small smile.
