It definitely got cloudy .. and rained a heck of a lot after that image. My intention was to do the Red Pike route, but the clouds made the ridge line seem pretty risky so decided on back tracking.. and fell over twice for my troubles on the downward rocky staircase part *huff*
It was fun for sure, that was Sunday and i'm a little sore this morning.. but thats likely from the mountain walking i did yesterday! Its mean to rain all day today where i'm staying so i'm having one of my rare adult/smart moments and am taking a rest day with some painkillers to help my body calm down. Maybe doing a mountain walk straight off the bat wasn't the best idea, but thats my body rebelling!
