I'm building my headcanon that Walnut is the one with the psychic powers (Wendell is a little too dumb to understand parapsychodynamics) but that Walnut uses his powers to let his bud astral project into the dreams of cute guys Wendell saw that day. Walnut of course does this because he's a consummate wingman... or wingsquirrel.
