im metis(polish,french mixed with ojibwe and cree)i grew up in the big cities away from my culture that i discovered later on in high school.since then ive embraced my heritage proudly and besides doing craftwork like this(which is very painstakingly demanding and demands discipline to do!)i also dance mens traditional,sneak-up,grass and hoop dance(twenty or so hoops)
why loons?or swans!??lol-im in a drum group called the prairie buffalo boys and the loon is a singing bird.eagle feathers because feathers are precious to us in pow wow country.wolves paws..because their cool!lollightning for power-white reeds because of natural medicine.now you know!
