「 The moon hung low, swollen with promise. Petals spiraled through the sky like tiny omens, torn from the sakura trees that lined the rooftop where Kamiko perched. The air trembled, filled with anticipation and cherry-sweet death.
She waited for the signal; the mark had never seen her coming. A flash of red, a whisper of silk, a scent of gardenias and blood- and then silence.
Kamiko Yamikage didn’t just kill. She performed.
She dropped from the roof like a petal, somersaulting in midair, one leg slicing upward in a flourish that defied gravity. The blade in her hand glimmered with moonlight; a mirror to her crimson markings and the shadows coiling around her thighs.
Kamiko landed, catlike and perfect, a single paw touching the ground with grace. Her ears twitched. Behind her, the petals fluttered one last time, painting the night with beauty as bold as blood.
She exhaled slowly, a breath that fogged in the moonlight.
And with a smirk, she vanished. 」
