This was probably my most ambitious entry in the Weekend Challenge contest. It made use of a ton of Blender's features: bump maps, ray mirror, alpha transparency, particle system, and ambient occlusion. Most of the objects in the scene were modeled using a Beizer cure and the spin function. The wood texture used an empty for the texture mapping, although this technique has proven useful in the past, I found that here it wasn't as useful as I had hoped.
