Gods, this piece is ugly, but was done with good intent. This was made over a picture we took in my house during a "furmeet". If I'm not mistaken, this furmeet was meant to be in a local park, but it was WAY too hot outside for us to have fun safely. And because I used to be all motherly about the local fandom and the members, I invited them all to my place, where we ate some tasty foods, chatted until we got headaches from talking and then took some pictures.

Not everybody is still friends with me or friends with each other, but we tried our best and we were younger and a bit more stupid.

I would like to do something similar to a remake of this picture, but I don't know if it would be of a good taste to draw it exactly how it was. I may just draw my closest friends together in a similar context, so I can keep it close to my heart.

Times were tought, mentally, emotionally and financially, and I know I wasn't a perfect leader for those furries - I even hesitate to say I was some sort of leader, I just used to organize the monthly meetings - but I liked them a lot. We had problems, of course, like inner squabbling and all. I miss my friends.
