More from 2012! This time the last of what I was able to get done for Artslam that summer. This time it's Matt! He's a scientist who works at Spectrum, and for years and years I had no idea what he did there; it's only been this past year that I figured out he might possibly work as a geneticist there. He's an absolute sweetheart of a man, softspoken and a bit of a dork, and not pictured is the doodle of his wife Alice, a botanist who also works at the labs, that was on this same page. I think he's just sitting in a breakroom here having a bit of coffee before getting back to it.

He's definitely a friend to Jawz despite her run ins with Spectrum, and has always had her back as best he can, even if it might be in more subtle, quiet ways- he's not one for confrontation, but he is one for leaving a keycard in the same drawer in his desk where it mysteriously and occasionally seems to vanish only to be replaced by a Mars bar, and later returned, and he doesn't need to know what's done with it in the meantime. (He knows Jawz isn't causing any real trouble.) He likes to read and he likes coffee but way more than anything else he loves his wife and his baby daughter, who was absolutely delivered by the stork and he definitely didn't faint when Alice was having her. He is the best and sweetest dad and very gentle in all things.
