More art from 2012, and more from Artslam! I only got a few pieces out this time around but I was really happy with what I did, and was trying to do bigger pieces like this! Anyway, here's Alex Tavin, a friend of Jawz and another shifter, alongside his shift form. Unlike Jawz, he's what's known as a 'simple shifter', meaning he only has one form- and also I think his is what's known as a 'shifter specific' species, meaning it's one that's not found in nature, and only present as a shared shapeshift form. This particular one is from a small, regional group of shifters that were historically known as temple guardians, and Alex himself happens to live by some pretty cool and massive old ruins thereof. That is indeed a big statue paw he's resting on!

I think this was also the first time I got the colors down for his shift form in a way I was happy with- I think I had known for ages before this what his overall colors were, but hadn't been able to get them down on paper! It's a bit of a trek to Central from where he lives, so he isn't there around Jawz and Kaerith all the time, but they're all thick as thieves when he does get the chance. I also did this one as a sketch and colored it digitally!
