This time I was trying to draw out Kaerith! She's a kyne, a big, werewolfy-type build species and Jawz's adopted dogmom. She's wry, dry, and a smartass, strong as hell, and Big- she probably has to duck down to get through doorframes, at least for the tips of her ears and horns. She can run around on all fours, and prefers to when she needs to be fast, but can also do a more casual, lumbering kind of walk on two legs. I think this is around when I learned that her species name is kyne, and also when I changed the patterning on her tail from striped rainbow to what it is now. (It used to be rainbow because I thought she herself was a hybrid of several different species I had at the time, but she's her own species, and this worked way better for her!) She's also got some novoxic tail traits going on, and like Jawz, they're just there to look cool, and can't actually burn anything (though she would gladly lament about it. If only she had some marshmallows. Whenever anybody stares she likes to pull the whole, 'If only I had listened when Mom told me not to play near the radioactive waste runoff facility.' in a slightly thoughtful and lamenting tone, and, if they keep staring, just a casual, 'Are you like. Bored. I can get you a crossword.' Despite the sass, she's got a real good heart, and is the mom who stepped up for Jawz, and is very protective of her.
