Blytz Evolution
You may seen my age progression artwork before, but evolution line hits differently. I joined this fandom on June 12th, 2015, on a previous FA account named BlytzDragon. It's been 10 years now, and a lot has changed, especially regarding my looks:
2015: When I started, I created myself in Dragon Maker developed by MangoSno, with these saturated colours on my body and in a feral form. Several of my features do disappear later on, such as my purple ear fluff, face markings, and yellow hard scales on top of my arms and legs. But for the most part, it's the same recognisable Blytz you know me to this day.
2018: Tons of anthro art later, I got this form redesigned by
GD Seirya, but rather than using the toned down colour scheme, for nostalgic purposes I used the OG colours from my first ref sheet by
darkgoose. Compared to my feral form, tons of changes were made as previously mentioned, along with new body and wing markings and toned-down spikes. My body shape there is lean, focused, in contrast to my more muscular self these days. Also, I was a nudist, didn't bother wearing any clothes for quite some time.
2021: Now we're getting to what I call the modern BlytzDragon look. This design by
Baroque Implementing the desaturated colours on my body for a more natural feel, in addition to officially allowing me to wear tons of clothing more regularly, no more unintentional nude me. This summer outfit shows me wearing a black t-shirt with what I would call the official BlytzDragon logo, shoutouts to
axelshane and
woofawoo for early concepts of the logo, a red plaid shirt similar to lumberjacks, brown shorts and red sandals. Also, I started to gain a few muscles so I can be stronger as a vigilante.
2025: After
DulcisDarkhaus666 conceptilised a new Science Fiction looking outfit for me, inspired by the likes of
Thrakos,
Aldqueath and
Alcitron, the biggest change on my character happened thanks to
Ice-Heart's amazing design on my latest ref sheet. I became muscular and athletic wearing a loincloth made out of carbon fibre, gauntlets and boots to protect my limbs and a pauldron to protect my right shoulder and for support. I can use my computers on my bracers as well as summon some deadly holographic claws, and I could deal damage to my foes. This is quite honestly a super cool design that fits in well for if I were in a violent video game, for example, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
But yeah, this is the timeline for what happened, from humble beginnings of me now being sure of what to do to what I am now and knowing what I like to do within this fandom and my worldbuilding involving not just myself, but other characters I own.
I would also like to give a few more shoutouts to everyone else I haven't mentioned yet who helped me out getting very comfortable within FurAffinity and the furry fandom in general, and guiding me with advice for 10 years so far. Amazing people like
Kitteh6660,
AriaLeon,
Tempest_Fennac,
SnowFangs,
Snowfyre,
Drayk,
Ben300,
Fyreblazes,
DaVinc2901,
VermStudio,
BassyBefuddle,
rex_equinox and
WingedWilly.
One way or another, you all changed my life for the better and helped me understand the love and appreciation when it comes to anthromorphic animals and their shenanigans with each other, and the many different art styles and themes regarding the creations of these ideas in the first place. Thank you all and every guy and gal who saw me, watched me, faved my artworks, gave shoutouts to me and everything else that makes me what I am today!
Here's to another 10 years of me in the fandom, who knows if there will be a sequel to this evolution too. Only time will tell.
