Poor Enigma didn't have one of these so I am going to fix that! Muaaah. While I'm not typically one for making Con-Badges, I thought this would be a rather fun thing to do and a nice gesture. Only too happy to provide if he can tolerate walking around wearing my semi-passable scribble (AKA: art) around his head.
That strange bottle-thing is a bottle of scotch, (and it will make more sense when coloured) brand-name yet undetermined. Paw is the left front tread-mark of a thylacine. Be wary of those things and don't give them screwdrivers.
The PSD for this lineart is EXTREMELY Hi-Res. The brush-size I used varied between 30 and 40. Because PS7 only goes up to 19, I had to keep entering the numbers in manually. The file alone is 48mb as-is and the colour layers aren't even on yet! This is easily the largest PSD file I've made to date. I'm actually happy working with this size too, you can't see my horrid shakey lines nearly as much as you can on the other things I've uploaded recently.
I decided to ink this one up in Photoshop for a couple of reasons - I have an actual inked sketch on paper and because I'm going to attempt to colour it up in the near future, I wanted a backup because I'm honestly quite afraid of ruining it. The other reason was because if the said paper version turns out crappy (I haven't played with my watercolour pencils in over 5 years) then I have a backup that I can still colour. My TAFE has a colour printer and a laminator, it just might look better on gloss paper afterall. Who knows, time to experiment? Yes.
Enigma is... awesome. And here:
