Notes and trying to solidify ideas.
This pic has been retouched, a lot has changed with these characters compared to when I made this drawing back in June 2023.

Back then they still had their old 4 letter names, but right now I'm pretty determined to change them!
I want to make them mostly hispanic names, as a way to familiarize myself with the idea of having characters with hispanic names, which has always been a weird concept to me. My OCs so far have always had.. japanese names, english names, or made up/fantasy names, anything that doesn't hit too close to home I guess.

I still consider them homestuck fanocs, but even then I'm also settled on the idea of separating them from Homestuck more. Not out of a desire to distance myself, but just to avoid any possible future issues. Their story, their session, was already going to deviate a bit from a normal SBURB session, so might as well keep it game adjacent but draw inspiration from additional sources.

I also didn't have all their looks set in stone, even now some are subject to change, but it'll probably be only slightly (I had 0 idea about Rubí and Noah, and I had a vague idea about Clau/Kael, his hairstyle might still change)

I love color coded characters, but I'll probably simplify it and just fuse it into the same color(s) for each "set"
