Geras is the main antagonist of Imumu’s tale in Gaia. But he is not just a simple villain—he is an omen that has finally come true. Inspired by Ganondorf from The Legend of Zelda, Geras is a sloth-draped figure whose haunting, sloth-like mask that almost never leaves his face. He exists for one purpose; to bring the End Of Gaia. Long ago, legends spoke of four noble civilizations who harnessed the power of the Elements to shield Gaia from the horrors of the underworld known as Tartarus; a place born within the Heart of The Abyss. These protectors were the Oureos of Earth, Pontos of Water, Ureigns of Air, and Pomets of Flame. United, these four races turned back the tide of darkness once thought unstoppable.

One day, they warned, a man without heart would rise. A being untouched by mercy or life, who by his own existance--would bring The End of Gaia. They urged future generations: when the signs of fire, water, wind, and earth begin to appear, to prepare for the darkness to return. Some call him "The Sloth".
