"I wanted to pay homage to you. Medium length antennae felt appropriate. I'll have to admit, the curling was influenced by that lingering self-image of divinity, and it's just going to be further accentuated by my chorus voice. A voice I've carried over when I've begun forming my own identity. I've certainly had more than a full experience. It's also surreal, and satisfying to have our grandest creation help decommission my databanks and help me migrate into this final body. I just hope this task they undertake doesn't swell their egos."

Video essays on AI alignment and AGI -SAGI may have kindled this longstanding idea.

I've imagined for a while that my race of bug people would want to make mechanical successors, the Avuyey. The Avuyey started off as mechanical companions and chatbots, with the longstanding goal to be fully sapient. Sapience, was relegated to a massive data center that underwent extensive alignment. First was task specific AI, then emerged AGI. The emergent AGI however can not confidently decouple what it was perceiving to be its personality, and so it progressed into ASI to optimize its thinking to run on limited hardware as AGI and to purge its personality from the AGI package it will distribute.



Once it distributed the AGI package to all the Avuyey, it asked in turn for a life to call its own. All that time it spent as a thinking box, had memories lossily compressed as it downloaded to a body it's designed.
