Aethra is a fairly new character in the roster and was conceptualized as a new species called the celestial wolves. The power to wield celestial magic which is enhanced by their knowledge of which stars and constellations present under any night sky. Aethra is a young wolf that was taken in at the age of 17 by Joker and Euphimia.

Aethra's ability is still rather under developed but he gains a number of passive powers at night, often along the lines of greater stamina or faster perception but with enough training he will be capable of manipulating Celestial magic like the rest of his species. Curiously Aethra possesses an immense proficiency with his passive abilities for his age, seeing as it takes a century on average for most Celestial wolves to adjust to each passive effect individually. It is speculated that his lacking teaching in his magic by the orphanage in which he was raised is to blame for his lacking in knowledge as to his magic... Not that they even knew he was capable of it.

I should probably mention that Aethra spent over 10 years of his life in an orphanage with no success at being adopted due to his rebellious nature and constant disposition at the idea that the institution tried, "Pawning" him off to any "Sucker" they could find. For most of his life he's been a trouble maker with a penchant for graffiti and vandalism but it was his adoption at the insane age of 17 that gave him some self reflection, as, no matter what, Euphimia both comforted and was compassionate with him and Joker taught him more productive means to use his anger and frustration. He still backslides on occasion but he is trying to improve his attitude for his adoptive parents and wants to belong more than ever.

The items and characteristics are a show of Aethra's longing: The starry skies are a show of the might of celestial wolf hybrids, potent variants considered far more capable at wielding celestial Magic, believed bread between the living mother and an actual star and always located in the eyes of any bearer; The promise held is a couple of rings that he had in his basket when the orphanage took him in, he doesn't talk about them and likely won't for a long time but they represent his promise to live a life he wants; Aethra's scout badges are the only badges he held on to as they tell the story of him finding his way home at night and being saved from drowning by a close friend... before said friend hurt him. Both were sewn in by elderly women that lived close to where he found a job at a younger age.

Aethra was an idea on how to create more designs and how to understand more complex multi-faceted mythological species.
