Joker is a character from my earliest days into the art scene, from back in the good ol' days when I was much heavier into the Sonic art thing which I found a lot of late 90's kids found immensely enjoyable, another character that went through a large number of iterations and I'm glad to see where he ended up as of now. Joker is also my first foray into the astronomical avatars and a way to characterize them as he represents the moon.

Joker is a character with no defined ability, as he can manipulate anything natural to the planets inorganic makeup. This includes chemical composition, tidal forces, gravity, air pressure and so many other things, all of which are amplified slightly when his main body (the moon itself) is present.

Joker's persona is often betrayed by his name, the "Joke" being that he has to be what his mother can no longer be... the representative of the world's authority. Keeping Deities and mortals in check like this for the better half of 4 and a half eons has stacked a lot of stress onto his existence and as such he often exemplifies the necessity of a moderator in a world with far too many world ending entities calling Terra their home.

The items and markings are a display of his undertaken authority: The eye of Thea is the first chunk of the Moon's main body that was placed into orbit and gives Joker a full view of anything and everything under the Moon's light as well as any earthly authority said thing would possess; The Phase equilibrium is an adaptive tattoo like mark that is meant to portray the ever changing continents upon the planet's surface; Kardias tis Gaias (The Heart of Gaia) is the means by which Joker changes and metamorphizes his own body without consequence, the necklace being a semblance or fragment of his mother. He is never without this last connection to his dormant mother, Terra.

Joker is a passion from long days behind and I thought to add a bit more muscle to his design.
