Bubblegum Milkshake Luna, my own personal take on the My Little Pony power scaling method where every pony species channels magic in their own unique way, In Milky's case, being an Earth pony, her magic is channeled throughout her body, most potently when connected directly to the ground.
Milky's ability is that of Mistform, the power to physically convert her body into mist at will. This ability, though potent, requires her reactive impulse to activate, meaning the moment it activates is entirely her choice and can't activate on it's own. Catch her by surprise and she couldn't use this method to avoid harm.
Bubblegum Milkshake is an adopted child turned teenager , whilst living with Raven and Beatrice. A sort of daughter to the both of them and the first real attempt to harbour a family in a heart wrenching realization that their physiology as well as both of their bodies being uniquilly incapable of reproduction. Both of them came to love Milky with zero secondary motivation and she served as a benchmark to the way they would approach their other children in the future.
The items Milkshake wears most often are a symbol of her growth: The hairpiece she adorns so proudly is the ultimate symbol of her love and connection to the family she found herself in, the fur representing her siblings and their tie to the gold, or money, they themselves saved up and spent on the item, as well as the gems, which show herself, the objective of the item, and her adoptive parents, as well as their direct connection to how much worth she feels in herself in the modern day; Beatrice's Ankh, which Ironically is the original Ankh that Beatrice herself wore for many years before her mother passed away, given as a symbol of Beatrice's Love and appreciation of her, "Little Pony"; The belts Milky occasionally wears help her focus on her power for the most part, the physical tension helps her understand her application of Mistform far better... And she is in a phase where she thinks it looks cool.
I love "My Little Pony" so so much and am so looking forward to drawing her more in the future.
