A Spectral Keeper will instinctively counterattack when struck. Be aware of your positioning if you attack or cast magic on him. He will strike whichever way he is facing. Whenever I give Claude a little "love tap" though, he replies with a hale and hearty bear hug.
From the thoughts of Claude, my Spectral Keeper:
Once bound to a life of servitude, I knew nothing of kindness or love. All I did was fight. That was my sole purpose. To fight. To kill. All that changed when I met him. With his magic, he removed the sigils bound to my flesh. He gave me legs to stand on. I was free. Free to live my own life. Even with my body and spirit no longer bound, I want to stay with him. Protect him. Repay him with the very same kindness and love he showed me.
I wanted a comm with me and my Spectral Keeper, Claude together so here we are! I just had a cute little idea: Whenever I touch Claude's pecs and/or abs, his "counterattack" instinct instead is a very friendly (albeit maybe a bit intense) bear hug.
