This is a picture of Lord Dan (D. Dan's father) after a round of training in his private training grounds on his estate. There are several training grounds on the estate's grounds, but only Lord Dan has a private one that only he and he alone may use. ^\/^.
The swords shown are Zweihander swords. Though these type of swords tend to be two handed swords, Lord Dan is strong and skilled enough to duel wield these massive swords and he does so with ease. ^\/^.
The blades of his swords about 4 feet in length while the handle section is about 2 feet in length. In case no one has guessed by now, Lord Dan is 8 feet tall. LOL. ^\/^.
Not only is Lord Dephensor Dan taller than D. Dan, but his build and overall body mass is also significantly higher. It will take years of training for D. Dan to reach even the tip of his father's abilities and fitness level. D. Dan is, in his species, still young whereas his father is in his prime. ^\/^.
In D. Dan's species, aging is slightly slower. D. Dan is currently 29 years of age, yet, in his species, is looked upon like how humans look at a 17 to 20 year old. Not much difference, but still slower. His father is 57 years old, and yet is looked upon, in his species, as a 35 year old to humans. In their species, height growth continues until it slows considerably at 40 years of age where it levels off and stops completely at the age of 70. Usually 9 feet is the tallest most get to. Females of the species, however, grow to standard human height, and they age much slower than the males at half the standard human. ^\/^.
Though only he may use the training court, he still gets bugged by family and the occasional staff and / or subordinates. In the case here, D. (Dominus) Dan is asking for his allowance. He then asks his dad on what he thinks about a raise in his allowance. Lord Dan replies with tossing one of his Zweihander swords into the wall just next to D. Dan. D. Dan then says 'Nice talk' and then walks out. Lord Dan then does a face palm followed shortly by a sigh with a tone of annoyance. LOL. ^\/^.

I notice a lack of any armor which would seem like a no-brainer for someone carrying twin double-edge swords. Also, most swords of that kind are zweihanders, meaning it would take both arms to carry. One-handing that sword would result in nothing but wild and uncontrolled swings.
