The hair lines as well as a couple of other lines in your AVs, seem a bit over done. Which is about the same thing you pointed out in regard to the art above. On a side note comics, even marvel & dc ones do have a tendacy to use what is known as action lines. While rare they do tend to look similar to what was done here.
