Day 241 - June 2nd, 2741

Feels strange being back here. Not really any fond memories, but they were one of my first. This place was sprawling with life, bandits yes, but life nonetheless. Yet now its silent, empty, lifeless. All things true of the Void, and what was brought upon this place.

Still, now I know X0-C3 was behind it, I am trying to piece together why. Sure, wielders like myself have some power within us, even a failure like me. And this power can apparently be extracted, as Rose and X0-C3 has confirmed. But, X0-C3 tossed potentially thousands of Crazies, or 'Thralls' at a gang over 100 strong. All just to get at me?

It makes me question just how important anomalous power is, or just how expendable these Thralls are. But then again, they are just reanimated corpses, probably no shortage of that on Sol. Maybe I just answered my own question, but it can't be that simple, right?

In any case, it doesn't change the end result. X0-C3 underwent a lot to get at me, and single-handedly abolished Dracca's gang in the process. Yeah, starting to sound like Cpt. Haines's talk about Ascended Wielders is applicable to X0-C3.

Speaking of Dracca, no sign of anyone here. Gang or herself otherwise. Probably for the best. Not sure if saving her life back then can be considered a fuck-up, but I pray that isn't the case.

She was a bounty hunter before, fingers crossed without her gang, she returned to that. And who knows, maybe we will cross paths again.

I hope not, but then again, when have things ever gone my way?
