Neo uses the crown's magic the most out of the two felines, almost contently using magic for illusionary purposes, It's likely that if and when Neo puts down his crown, or if Neo stops using magic, that his eyes would be similar to King's... though Neo's eyes would be his iconic purple instead of pink. It was previously believed that the appearance Neo's eyes take was caused by the failure of an experiment Neo got caught up in. The same event that caused Neo to have the pink luminescent patches on his fur... never the less, the way Neo's eyes look, although potentially just an illusion, suit him.
