I got myself a little bench vise that clamps to the work bench, but mine is built in such a way that it wouldn't be able to clamp on. I figured my old bench pin (the wood with the V cut into it) could use a replacement, maybe something heavier.

The vise clamps on nicely to the bench pin and I feel that it won't really get in the way of projects that require the use of my benchpin. Just a nifty little small parts station, basically.

The vise came all the way from France and I believe it's from between the middle to late 1800's
