This is an example of my new art style! :3 I am so in love with the new look and the fun work flow. I used to stress over getting everything perfect and end up quoting all my project because of the perfectionist mindset I had. I’m getting back into art and being loose with it has proven more effective for my motivation than I could have ever imagined! ^w^
I’m definitely gunna be keeping the backgrounds though, I am not a fan of this look. I like the look of life on the page, taking the background out puts the characters in a void and frankly I hate that. The edges also got choppy which gives it a dirty look in my opinion, which is fine but I don’t want it for my art.
Zaknafein is my Pokesona, I made him when it was still up in the air what my updated fursona would be. I’ve been in the community since 2015 but I felt it was time for a change when I entered into college and made friends with the local furs there. A lot were Pokemon and I was strongly encouraged to make the Pokemon version of myself even if it wasn’t my main. I made this character in 2023 and have been very strongly attached ever since. I’m in the process of making a new fursona again since so much has changed in my life recently and is continuing to change, but this character is definitely going to be hanging around for a bit longer. Zaknafein is the name I go by, and in the Pokemon world, this is who I am.
