Well this is something different for my Final MerMay Art…😅
Here is Candy Kong chatting with Hazelnut (which she isn’t very pleased in seeing).
Yes I did say that I used to despise Candy (I mostly blame the cartoon version ruining it), but as years went by I now see her as neutral (only in the games, not the cartoon version of her since Cartoon Candy overwhelms me…).
I could see Hazelnut beginning to despise her at first since she makes her body look nothing better like Candy’s, but DK would always tell (and remind) Hazelnut that she’s beautiful just the way she is. And as time goes by she soon becomes neutral with her, and might even secretly like her romantically (in a Tsundere way)… I also would head-canon Candy as a Lesbian, since I would imagine her and DK’s relationship not working out at the end judging by the last time we saw her in a DK Game that was more than 15 years ago. I thought this would be perfect since Pride Month is coming tomorrow, so hope you all enjoyed the MerMay art I’ve made this year!!!
