Char.design for the upcoming "Noggle Stones" game, a steampunk fantasy about the twilight of the Wild West overlapping with the twilight of the faerie world in a strange mashup.
From left to right:
Aes Dana, the strange hybrids of humans and faerie
Dragon Bride, the warriors chosen of the dragons
Dwarf, craftsmen and miners eager for the industrial revolution
Goblin, schemers clever enough to manipulate realty
Human, who is too serious for these shenanigans
Ogre, smashy smash
Patchwork, animated taxidermy in service of the dark shadows
Pixie, tiny wizards and masters of magic
The graphic design draws elements of 1960s youth comics. The original char.designs are by the mighty George Broderick Jr. (http://www.georgebroderick.com/), with some Ernie Colon and Dan DeCarlo thrown in. Still getting the hang of this.
Comments welcome.

This sounds like a really interesting idea!
I like how much of the character you got into their poses and facial expressions. The variety of head shapes is good too, it helps differentiate the Aes Dana, Dragon Brides, and Humans. The idea of serious, square-headed humans being serious in the face of all this weirdness delights me in a Professor Utonium kind of way.
I definitely want to hear more about this as it develops.
