The thing is, when she's on Earth, she can't just be like, "I'm an all-powerful sexy demon bitch that wants tons and tons of sex!" She has to try and get a place and a job like most everyone else. So... one of the odd jobs she tried early on was that of a nurse. It didn't go well... and that's an understatement.
At least she looked good doing it, though!

Heh -- being a nurse isn't exactly an "odd job," but I guess she has her ways of getting around training and certification requirements! But I'm sure she could make some of us feel "all better" if only for a little while. She'd probably be mixing up "sedation" with "seduction" all the time, though.
