This is what happens when I spawn the t-pose anywhere that isn't standard terrain, the poor guy D:
Sneak peak at my current WIP model (?), which has been the source of much anguish. That is an overstatement, but I have more than doubled the time spent on this rig trying to do the spots :(
He's the fella from my short story The Hit, which I'm currently making a longer story around :D
Currently, there are 499 unconnected bricks worth of spots and I have yet to do the arms or head. If we assume that each unconnected spot brick requires an average of 2 connecting bricks, that will bring Daxton here to 2520 bricks. That is likely a low number considering for most of them it will probably actually take 3 or more. For context, my other less optimized model, Sunny, is 839 bricks. I say less optimized because there are better ways to get the same detail on his model. Sunny also has an openable mouth, Daxton does not (yet).
I am never giving another character of mine spots, after this guy, I've been scarred for life. Or at least I won't have them be so dense, I'm so glad I decided his tail would be pure white..
Fun fact though, the first method I tried to use for the spots made him look like ice cream!
