Part 3: His mind slowly begins to clear, but there is a burning ache through out his body. He can barely move as his body feels oddly stiff. The smell of burning scales and flesh creep up his nose and threatens to make him gag.

He finally gets up the strength to open his eyes. When he does, he wishes he hadn't. His beautiful red scales are replaced with blackened burnt ones. Every breath he takes causes the scales on his chest to crack, sending waves of searing pain into his lungs.

The tentacles wave around him, inching closer and closer. As hard as he tries, he can't move. He doesn't have the strength to escape.
