Once you’ve handled a loud, overheating beast, you can handle twelve of them and assure your victory!
I’ve had a passion for motors ever since I can remember, and being the speed-obsessed bully I was, one of my first memories is legit riding around on my tiny bicycle and leaning in curves while pretending I was Kevin Schwantz.
But it really got going when my Uncle Beau, probably the biggest biker nut in the whole of Pennsylvania, got me my first minibike when I was around seven, a yellow-and-black growly thing that I soon became inseparable from. After a year, I’d fully mastered it, and after two, I was competing on the MiniGP circuit and putting my nose in front of everyone in pretty much every race. If there was a chance to pull off a move on whoever, I’d go for it, and 90% of the time, I ended up running ahead, and they were eating dirt. My literal dirt, hah!
Soon, I was moving up the ranks, and getting my name out there, but it was not an easy thing to sustain money-wise, not gonna lie. So when I signed a contract to race a full season on the Supersport circuit, you know I made the most of that shit! Five years, a hundred races, and a national title in one of the most competitive series there is!
Literally after I got off that podium, I signed a two-year contract with Suzuki to ride on their factory team and duke it out with the fastest furs in America in the Superbike championship. My rookie season went pretty good, but in the following season, I hit a slump that ended with a nasty fall and a shoulder fracture midway through the year. There was no choice but to take a sabbatical, based on that and the fact that I had a puppy running around and another incoming. And one fateful night, the ad for ACA appeared on TV. “Canines all around the country, get ready to compete in all these challenges to take home the title of the top dog in America.” I didn’t know what the hell that was except that I wanted it, and I applied instantaneously!
People think it takes nothing to jump on a bike and ride fast, but when you’re handling a motorcycle that weighs about 350 pounds, averaging 130 miles per hour for 45 minutes straight in the most tiring position, losing up to 2 liters of sweat – you heard it right, 2 liters – throughout a whole race, you need to be at your fittest to perform at the top level. And I don’t think any of these fellas realize just how hardened my body got. They think a gym sesh and a dumbbell are fine, but my body is all literal hard work!
Despite my focus on being the leanest and meanest racer, I’ve bulked up a little and focused on rekindling my aggression and my competitive side by practicing a lot on the cross track. I think my greatest Alpha skill is the knowledge I got of my limits: I know I ain’t turning into a fighter or outlift the heaviest dudes in two months, but at the same time I know I got the biggest pair of everyone and I ain’t scared to take on anyone at whatever is thrown my way. Knowing is half the battle; executing it to your best abilities is the other half.
Alpha’s my calling, and I’m ready to add some silverware to my trophy cabinet. Let’s ride!

Motorsports nuts across the U.S. know the name Lance Cramer. This battle-hardened bulldog carved his legacy in the Furry MotoAmerica circuits, capturing the national Supersport title in 2018 and climbing into the elite Superbike ranks for 2019 and 2020. Now, with a year off the track, he’s traded his leathers for the ACA challenge. He’s doing it for his fiancée Helen, who's currently pregnant with their second pup, and for his young son Blade, who's already seen more racetracks than playgrounds. Will Lance’s relentless drive and veteran edge be enough to bring home the quarter-million - and give his family the future they deserve?
