originated in the early 2000s by furries (from my understanding) who drew their sonas in alternative attire, different from standard fursona designs from early on. youll see these guys with lots of piercings or accessories and part of different subcultures.
at least my definition of it, youll probs find someone who says differently. its got a community of its own, lots of cool ppl :3

i kinda started off just mimicking old glamfur artwork from early on, and later developed my own style from there,
during that time i came across ppl who were doing the same,
i follow lots of artists under the glamfur tag on insta so u can maybe start there.
i also spend a lot of time just going thru old archives of artists from back then ^_^ lots of inspo to take from if ur interested in learning their styles and get a feel of what was 'glamfur' back then.
