Musical break! 🎶🔪🩸
A few years ago I introduced Foxey
to a very interesting musical project American Murder Song (AMS)
And he couldn't resist and, impressed, drew a quick thematic sketch with our characters to the music.
And I couldn't resist either - I lined and colored it :3
It turned out to be another unexpected small collab.
American Murder Song is an American musical group founded in 2016 by composers Terrence Zdunich (you may remember him from "Repo! The Genetic Opera") and Saar Handelman. The main genre is dark ballads about murders in the history of America in the 19th century.
A very unusual and original project, which I personally cannot name any analogues.
The combination of dark ballads and pub songs and my love for maniacs and all sorts of dark stuff intertwined in this project into one big pure (very dirty 😈) love) 🖤
Immerse yourself in the gloomy atmosphere of early America with mournful church bells, the creaking of old wagon wheels in the desert prairies and Carolina moonshine.
These are stories about troubles, illnesses, hopelessness, faith and God, sick love and burning hatred and terrible secrets that should remain hidden forever 🤫💀
