Foals in the house? lolwut?

Lol! They are in a back room at the animal hospital I work at :) Hopefully I will be bringing them home today, but I have jury duty (boooo!) all day, so it depends on if I can get home and have time to do repair work on my stalls so they can have a safe place to go.

They're absolutely precious! Definitely enlist in the assistance of an older mare or babysitter gelding so that they'll learn to be real horses. Nothing is more hair-rippingly-frustrating than a bottle-fed foal who has NO manners and thinks it's a giant dog. They're really dangerous to themselves, their people, and other horses. (I know from having trained a couple to saddle. They're precious and super affectionate, but tend to have no sense. ;P)

I've wanted a horse for years and years, but the plan was to wait a couple more years, then get a nice, ridable adult!

Now I have two two week old little fillies! AND its been suggested I get a senior mare to keep with them, so they can learn proper horsey behaviour, lol.

Oh they are so cute! Are they yours? Do you know how old they are?

They are mine for now. Time will tell if we will keep them, lol.
