He's my baby bearded dragon. Had him two weeks. His full name is Leon Dexter Powalski.
He's.. not wound too tight. This morning he fell off his suction cup branch and faceplanted into his substrate. Then laid there until I picked him and put him under his lamp.

Cool, they make wonderful pets. Just make sure you have a UVB light for them too. Many people dont know the importance of both UVA and UVB lighting. Only reason I mention it is cause he fell off his branch and looks tired. Make sure the temps arent too hot either.
They can also be nasty during puberty but dont stop holding him or he will be unfriendly forever. If you have any questions Id be happy to answer!

I've never owned a reptile. I've heard that some of the larger ones, such as iguanas and bearded dragons can actually recognize their owner and show affection, whereas smaller ones such as geckos and snakes don't quite so much.
I've heard all sides of it. Let us know how it turns out for you, I've always liked bearded dragons and some of the other larger lizards :).

I used to have a water dragon. I know mine liked crickets, but loved "super worms" those dont make any noise either...though my dragon was big enough that I had to feed him a mouse once in a while. and he didnt like me to kill them first. he wouldnt eat them then. but he loved em live. they make harnesses for larger lizards too. so you can walk em or atleast carry them and not worry about them getting loose. hope you share pics with us when he gets bigger....oh. and show steve. I am sure he will love it
If he's not too alert, that's probably a bad thing... Even my smaller one is always alert so long as she's warm enough. If she falls off of something, she's at least up and looking around right away.
Still, he's a real cutie~
Huh... Maybe I should post some pictures of my critters here instead of just Facebook xD
